Erin Walker has nearly 20 years of experience in education—including: strategic planning; change management; program implementation; curriculum and assessment development; blended learning models; professional development of teachers and instructional leaders; as well as, diversity and inclusion support. She provides personalized consulting to mission-driven organizations and public institutions to improve engagement, efficiency and effectiveness. Erin’s most recent operating position was Senior Vice-President of Operations at Knowledge Delivery Systems, where she developed and grew relationships with key personnel in school districts nation-wide, and drove the full implementation life cycle—managing, designing, and delivering effective personal development programs in school districts while coordinating internal service delivery among the technology and content teams.
In support of the KDS mission and client needs, she also led internal Diversity and Inclusion efforts. Upon the sale of KDS to PCG, Erin provided transitional consulting services to make the transition seamless to the clients. Erin has held leadership positions at non-profit organizations including CFY (now Power My Learning) and Linking Communities for Educational Success where she led the execution of successful strategic planning, organizational change, and program development. In her leadership roles at for-profit organizations including Teachscape and Kaplan K12 she led company-wide service delivery, helping districts and states systematically improve teacher effectiveness. As a Program Manager in the NYC Department of Education, Erin successfully led the development of performance task assessments with collaborative teams including principals, teachers and subject matter experts. She began her career as a special education classroom teacher and technology coordinator in Washington DC. Erin holds a B.A. in Human Services and a master’s degree in Transition Special Education, both from The George Washington University.
