Mrs. Hudge is responsible for oversight and implementation of the district’s school improvement process, and supports all Turnaround School efforts in alignment with Department of Education mandates.
She is also responsible For leading all initiatives that provide support to parent affiliate organizations and committees, addressing parent and community concerns, and coordinating linkage to available resources in and outside of the district. She oversees the preparation, implementation, and monitoring of the district Accreditation process, ensuring all 226 schools in Broward County meet accreditation standards every 5 years through AdvancEd.
Mrs. Hudge manages several grants designed to support school improvement, including School Improvement Grant (SIG); Wallace Principal Supervisor Initiative (PSI); Principal Autonomy (PAPPI); UniSIG; and co-manages the University Principal Prep Initiative grant (UPPI). As an extension of her work, Mrs. Hudge facilitates all organizational aspects of the district’s National Summit for Principal Supervisors, an annual conference designed for K-12 Superintendents, District Leadership, Principal Supervisors and Aspiring Principal Supervisors from across the nation.
