Dr. Inger Swimpson

Dr. Inger Swimpson is a skilled facilitator who excels at helping leaders discover their creativity and passion through shared leadership challenges and aspirations. She is a Facilitative Leadership Master Trainer, having earned this certification through Interaction Institute for Social Change. She understands the dynamics of race, culture, and equity and the importance of building systemic cultural competence. She brings experience in human resource and talent management, and is an Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) Qualified Administrator. 

Swimpson is a former central office and school-based administrator with Montgomery County Public Schools. Prior to her retirement and during her 30-year career, she served as a middle-school classroom teacher, instructional specialist, supervisor, and director in the Offices of Human Resources and Development and School Support and Improvement. Additionally, she served as an adjunct faculty member at Bowie State University, Towson University, and Hood College, where she taught courses in educator preparation, diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging, and administrative supervision and leadership.
